I have a '12 an added a 25R oil cooler and switched to Valvoline 10W30 VR1 Racing Synthetic. So far all is well. I, too, daily drive mine and will be doing occasional track events.
Spirited flogging through the twists so far has gotten me no more than 215 degrees. It isn't tracking but I'm still finding it very difficult to get the temps over that point. Combination of the stock cooler and an outboard cooler seem to be pretty good. Just try not to go on long drives without a cover. No oil consumption to note yet either. And the slight ticking I had has gone away. I can still hear the valves and cam doing their thing but no ticking like I heard with the stock fill.
