KISS - Keep It Simple, Stupid

Start with basic bread, meat, and cheese. If you want veggies, stick with the basics to start as well: lettuce, tomato, pickles (lots of people like onions too). Don't try any crazy variations to start with. Once you nail down good basics of what you like, you can start experimenting with different breads, various or multiple kinds of meats, and different veggies like sprouts or olives. If you use mayonnaise or mustard on your basic sandwich, try lightening up on those condomints (lol boobZ) or leaving it dry when you first try new variations of bread or meat or veggies.
