I've personally used Dr. color chip on my 2004 3-series which was what BMW calls "Mystic Blue", my experience wasnt as good as others had with all the testimonials and videos i had watched or maybe i just had way to high of expectations. Either way it didnt look as great as i had hoped. It doesnt hurt to try it out. if i recall its not that cheap either though so hopefully you know someone with the same color Z as you because if not you could just get stuck with a bottle of paint you wont ever really use.
