I'm not from VA, so I don't care if a VAST sees this.

I have the Escort 9500ci radar detector that is a fully installed detector. The front sensors are mounted to the front bumper and the rear sensor mounts on the plate. The controller is mounted in the drivers side foot well and the GPS sensor/display is mounted between my 3 pillar dash gauges for a clean, inconspicuous install. A trooper would have to know the GPS is going to my Radar Detector and not my HU which is not something he can prove in a traffic stop.

I'm not saying it is completely the way to prevent anything, just that there are ways around the VA laws.
