Less is definitely good, but if you do more, you really need to get plenty of input and do plenty of planning and mockups.

The ProjectZ car looks flipping great, though one *could* take minor exception to the unchanged Nissan hamburgers and a little too much on the spoiler, but the design is really done well and unified nicely with the matte paint job and wheels and door handles.

I do like that Top Secret/Baker Nissan car, though if you put text, I don't like redundant things. Like saying "370z" on the side.

As gaudy as some designs might be, a well-done bit of artwork on the side, while maybe not something I'd ride in, can still look really nicely done. But it needs to be professional grade.
