I think American cars have come a long way even though they may use other Nations to help them...

Like I said, I love my 370Z, but it too came with some lameness that is purely Japanese...Fuel starve, Oil temp limp mode, Steering Lock Failure..Hatch Shocks, Oil Consumption...

So every manufacture is not perfect.Japanese or American
1. Keep it filled on a track, and problem mitigated.
2. 34 row oil cooler, and problem mitigated.
3. Haven't had a problem with it (knock on wood).
4. Were never a problem, and if you remove the hatch ballast, it's mitigated too.
5. Mine never consumed any measurable amount.

As far as the "standard problems" of the 370, I haven't experienced any.
