Excellent creativity and uniqueness. IMO, the white would definately give it a more "high end" look (if I'm understanding that right...) It would flow better with the car.
The red just makes me wonder, "why red on the pillar?" In a minimalist effort, try a bright red trim on your stock interior, and maybe a some red "Z" floor mats/trunk mat. Sleek white outside, sexy red inside....oh my
