Don't worry. I don't mind pointing it out when someone asks a stupid question (ie, one that can easily be found on one's own).
PS: The FAQ isn't all that bad, it's just not very easy to use when you're looking for something. Well worth a quick read to get a feel for how the site works. Lot's of features that aren't obvious/easy-to-find.
