Mr gale I don't know everything and I'm not right all the time and no you don't need to keep an "open mind" when it comes to safety items it is either right or wrong.

I glad I seen this thread with all the smart azz comment thanks for any or your lack of input which shows a lack of knowledge on your part.

And maybe for those who are puzzled on my "6 figure income"maybe you should have started working on car when you were 15 like me and you to could enjoy the rewards.
Adding my 2 cents won't get us anywhere, others have and you discredit their information because its different to how you do things. Not wrong, different. In this case there is more than one way to get the job done properly and safely, though maybe not as fast as your method.

I have quite a few years in the manufacturing side of automobiles also at the dealer level and have first hand experience with people like yourself (journeymen, engineers, technicians, etc) that make 6 figures, and have the same number of years experience (some have double the years you have) actually most have 22 years and up. Some of these people are humble and helpful, others are not. Some don't know shįt, but still get paid the 6 figures and have the years of "experience". That's why I find bragging about it humorous.

Anyhow, going forward, people might appreciate your help more if you were to make a DIY thread instead of telling people they are doing something wrong in their own thread when all they wanted in the first place was to know the size of a piece of tubing.
