same deal with my G. ive had that car for 9yrs now, not once have i felt her hydroplane. ive driven it through heavy rain too on the expressway. S03, RE050A, S04, Pilots, etc. and even icey conditons using LM60's.
either their tread is low, psi is setup wrong, suspension is setup all wrong, using cruise control in the rain, etc.

I assume it's low tread. I have been on the highway in some of the craziest rain in the Z when it was relatively new (tires with good tread) and it handled itself flawlessly.
