Correct. The Rev-Up engine (2006 MT tranny only, AT is ok) was the subject of a TSB related to oil consumption. Had mine replaced also.

The 2007 had clutch slave cylinder issues that were addressed via a recall.

The 2008 was basically perfect.

Oil temps are not an issue with the 350z like they are with the 370.

The HR engine from the 07/08 is a great mill. However, if you can scrounge up 5k somewhere, you may be able to get into a somewhat higher mileage 370. The interior between the two is the biggest difference, imo.
