Some of them are okay, but most of them look like Instagram filters to me and they don't actually do any real retouching of skin unless you count reducing the clarity and blowing out the highlights.

It's neat, but you can achieve better results with the split frequency technique. There are a few tutorials on YouTube. It basically splits the color and texture to produce smoother, more natural result instead of a uniform skin tone or texture.
