Did my first trackday of the year at PittRace. Had a great time.
The Nismo work well. Oil temps never got over 200F. because it was a cold day. 40F in the morning, warming up to 55F when we was done. Brakes worked good with the duct work. Using YellowStuff pads. No brake dust on the rims. Thinking the air through the ducts was blowing it off. I had trouble finding the limits of the Mich PSS's. I got alot to learn. The car is better then me.
Had a '09 Viper ACR crashed 2 turns in front of me in session 1.
It was the owners first time on the track. 600hp car with Mich Sport Cups and cold temps, and driving over his head caught him out. Now I have to wash the anti-freeze off of the Nismo from him. Felled really bad for the guy. First timer with a car that had a 1000 miles on it. His dream turned into a nightmare. Wanted to take a picture of it but out of respect, I didn't.
Have another trackday next month.
Trying to down my videos to youtube now. Think that will take a fews days to do.
