For reference: fastest time of day was 53.3 seconds  i was practically Morgan Freeman driving Miss Daisy but it was still VERY challenging. Ima do it aagain

Are you comparing your times to an FTD that was set in something that's vastly different than a stock 370Z?
I've been to solo events where there's Formula Fords, Super 7s and well prepared CRXs and Miatas. All things that would slaughter a stock 370Z if the course didn't allow for the Z to stretch its legs. So don't sweat the time gap between yourself and FTD.
One time I set (true/raw) FTD in the rain in my CSP Miata, but lost out to a Stock Audi A4 Quattro when the PAX index was applied. He clearly had the advantage in those conditions, but what can you do?
