Strange because when I operate my car, it's normally involving the passage of time. Tq is merely instantaneous.
Hp isn't just a pretend number, it's the pushing force of your car. Hp is top speed, basically. Tq is how long it takes you to get there. Add 200 pounds of weight to your car and your top speed doesn't change, because tq offsets weight. HP offsets drag.
