I make a manifold conversion too and I dyno'd it, installed the new manifold, then re-dyno'd it, same day, didn't even move the car, AND my car had TP's, intakes, a CBE, and no tune

I lost 2-4WHP peak (above 7200RPM), but gained 12-15HP AND TQ across MOST the powerband. The loss of peak HP is NOTHING compared to the area you gain under the curve.
