In terms of C&D's comparison, that wouldn't make much difference. It would be placed before BMW z4M.

84 3:11.1 BMW X5 M LLT 2/12
85 3:11.7 BMW Z4 M COUPE LL2 8/07
86 3:12.0 NISSAN NISMO 370Z LL2 2/10
87 3:12.5 NISSAN 350Z TRACK LL1 11/06

If compared to the $33k Camaro SS with a 3:09.5 time
and the $32k Mustang GT 5.0 with 3:08.6 time, the 370z isn't really a bargain.

.
A bargain, the Z is not. These track numbers are subjective, Most cars on the list can lose to the 370z on another day or in another track. Too many variables to make these numbers concrete performance stattistics.
