I just saw a clip of American Dad where Stan (the dad) wants to get Steve (his son) a gun for Christmas and Francine (the wife/mom) says absolutely not. After an argument Stan says, "I promise I won't get Steve a gun for Christmas". Cut to Stan presenting a machine gun to his son saying, "Merry Wednesday, Steve!"
