Disclaimer: I'm no expert. But if they're stud replacement type, I don't see why not.

**edit** DE: explain? I would just use a bunch of anti-seize. That's being said, is 2.5mm really make or break for you? I would think 15 or 20 mm should be close enough in most applications.
