On my first Z I had H&R DRS. When I uninstalled them to sell the car, I had to knock the studs out in the same manner I did the OEM... they were in there pretty good. It sounds like it might just be an out of spec knurl.

The rest were fine. They were in there pretty solid. What exactly is an out of spec "knurl"?
