The Duellists, Alien, Blade Runner, Thelma and Louise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, American Gangster... I think I would be ok with him taking a crack at it. Never going to happen though, Disney plans on releasing Star Wars movies on a yearly basis.

The point I was making, and perhaps I should have rolled my two replies into one, was that it does not matter how good a director is, was, or could be because if left to their own devices (Lucas in episodes 1-3 and Scott with Prometheus) they are entirely capable of ******** on and ruining a franchise they themselves helped create.
