For daily driving, I have re50's on the front and the previous owner swapped the rears to goodyear f1's. There is no problem I can detect. Most people recommend against it. My car was used and came this way so I am just burning the rest of the RE50's until I can match the fronts to the rears.
For track days, I will be buying a set of RS3's on new wheels. My personal opinion is that for daily driving, as long as you aren't noticing any real problems in your steering, then having them mismatched is really not an issue. For track I would not recommend it, weird things happen to tires on the track.
