1. They might have been that expensive when they first came out, but you never buy a phone in the first 6 months. You let all the fanbois get them and then they drop the price.

I just bought through the Apple store, because they offered the 0% and Verizon didn't (same price).
I had to buy a new phone in Jan. My Thunderbolt wouldn't even let me use 4G (or any data) and Verizon refused to fix it and we were refused the next OS deployment too.
I thought about trying somewhere like eBay, but I have trust issues with strangers and anything over $20... esp. since I couldn't be 100% sure I was buying an iPhone
for Verizon until I received it.
