Tower how in the hell does it cost $34k to build a motor lol. Please tell me if I'm wrong or something isn't right here... But my friend just built his VQ35HR for about $6k. Carillo rods, Carillo Pistons, Jwt cams, full valvetrain (not sure exactly what brand) ARP bolts, plus other little things and it literally came out to be $6K. The 35HR isn't that much different than the 37vhr. Say a motor build costs around $10k, paired with a $9k turbo kit that can handle 800rwhp... I'm good with that
Stage 5 fuel system: $3400-----Have to feed the girl
New 4.2L with core : $15,400----was going to keep original engine as a back up.
Boost controller, race logic t/c..to control the hp, new clutch to handle the power, new exhaust, gauges etc.
You can't just thrown in a few parts and hop for the best with 800hp. You need to control it and make sure everything else will not explode the first time you get on it.
But hey good luck with your thought of you only need an engine build and larger turbo
