Open face Helmet: Shoei vs. Pyrotect vs. Racequip vs. Bell vs Simpson < $250 price
So I have been looking to buy an open face helmet (snell 2010) for over a year now. I find them easy to use and especially when doing Autox (not as serious or dangerous as HPDE or other track event). I liked using them during HPDE too. I actually rented a Arai GP-Jet during my last HPDE event and man, what a masterpiece! How light it was and how it snugged to my face yet didn't make me uncomfortable. I absolutely LOVED it . But as much as I have loved it, I wasn't sure about spending $500+ for the helmet. I knew I can get similar helmet for half the price. I'm just looking for a Open face helmet with Snell 2010 rating for less than $250. I'm looking for one important aspect in this purchase: it must be lightweight. That's it. So, here's my question to you guys. I know you guys own many various brands of helmet. Help me pick the BEST helmet for <$250. Here are my options (and you're allowed add yours as well). I thank you in advance for you time.
a. Pyrotect Open face helmet $168

This helmet seems to be one of the popular open face helmet. It's actually the BEST selling open face helmet at soloracer.com. It does have customizable thin/thick cheek pads. Also, patented new air flow technology. I have am strongly considering this helmet. I think i read somewhere it's around 3lbs?
b. Racequip Open Face Helmet: $169

For a very similar pricing to Pyrotect, this is another option. Looks similar to Pyrotect. Uses carbon fiber, Kevlar, and FRP composition to keep the weight low. Anyone use this helmet?
c. G-Force Phenom Open Face Helmet: $179

Here's a G-Force open face helmet. These all $169-$179 helmets looks very similar. Almost seems like it's the same helmet with different manufacturer stickers on them. However, I was told G-force is a step down or a inferior branch of BELL. Bell Always had good reviews. So Not sure how G-Force Stacks up.
d. Bell Sport Mag Open Face Helmet: $239

I have never owned Bell but heard really good reviews about them. Supposedly these are lightweight and great helmets that lasts long time. I have seen many bell helmets at various track events. What's your input?
e. Simpson Cruiser FR Open face Helmet: $249

Well we all know Simpson helmets are one of the best. So this is a 250 dollars Simpson open face helmet. Almost all my friends use Simpson helmet but I have never used them. They seem very well made.
f. Shoei RJ Platinum R Open Face Helmet: $262.79

I stumbed upon this awesome helmet last night. Granted it's slightly out of my budget but after reading 35 five star reviews, I'm convinced this is an awesome helmet. I looked into it even more and found out these are made in Japan since 1959. Top notch quality. Only weighs 2.64 lbs. I actually like the design of this helmet than some of the other ones mentioned above. At the moment, I'm 70% for this helmet unless you can show me something else. Here's a small video how SHOEI Helmets are made:
So what's your input? should I buy the Pyrotect or Racequip which will offer very similar performance, lightweight and snell 2010 rating at only $169 or get Bell or simpson for around $250 or buy the Shoei which is a better helmet than all the ones mentioned (made in Japan for good quality and weighs only 2.64 lbs) or you have something else you want to recommend to me? Also, What's a good online store to buy the helmet?
Thank you
