the only time they will honor your warranty is if the modification doesnt contribute to the cause of the problem in any way shape or form(IE if turbo your Z, they still have to fix your steering wheel if the leather rips off from normal wear and tear but they dont have to fix the engine if you blow that up)
in my honest opinion, if you are really worried about warranty, just stay stock until you are out of warranty, the nismo 370z is an awesome street car stock

Steering wheel got bent or the leather rips off because of the intense level the driver has everytime the turbo kicks in. So no, they won't fix it.
