yah, i dont run amps or subs on my base 370Z either. the bose has an amp and sub built-in, so they'd use the scoshe/metra harness with RCA's and run line-in as if they have an amp and sub installed. that's when the 4v pre-outs are handy.
i did exactly that on my other car that has bose. it sounds pretty good, actually. FAR BETTER than the stock bose the car came with.
btw, did you run ASWC or PAC to get your steering controls working?
