I see that, and I raise you:

The Altima Coupe is a fantastic car. I had a feeling it would get dropped once they stopped offering the V6 and a manual transmission for 2013 (MY2013 only offers CVT+2.5).

I had a 3.5 6MT 2010 model. It was a tad nose heavy, but with upgraded coilovers and a LSD it was an absolute blast to drive daily. Not a Z (or a Z alternative, for that matter), but as far as a car that had great power, solid reliability, and excellent build quality to drive anywhere you wanted to go, I really didn't see much that could beat it. It was a car that was pretty quick in a straight line, but was comfortable enough to drive on long trips (neither my Z or my Mazda are really good for driving for 4+ hours, but I blame my Altima's comfort for the reason I dislike the Mazda for longer trips - I was spoiled).

Anyway - Nissan lost me when they said the car had "Z Inspired Suspension" in the marketing papers for MY2011. They didn't market the car properly. The FWD Grand Tourer Coupe segment is kinda dry these days - people in that market are likely going to buy the Accord Coupe if they want something like that, but then again, a nicely equipped Genesis Coupe can be had for the same price point as the AC and Accord, and I think the Accord nameplate will be the reason it survives in the market whereas a lesser established Altima Coupe is meeting its demise.

The Genesis has changed things up a good bit (Hyundai in general).
