I've seen the engine removed both ways though, the most common is dropping the front subframe. you can also remove the radiator support and pull the engine out the front. or just leave the engine in for the install depending on the kit

I have access to a car lift, etc for free. I was just wondering what the easiest way of removing the engine on a Z would be....at the same time we may just leave it in and try to do the install like that. At the same time it's always good to have options.
