Dumb question: why not?
What would be the effect of the combo of 050's and 760's on my '09 MT ST coupe?
If this is really bad, then I will probably pay the much stiffer price for two 050's and wait until I kill the fronts with the new backs.

The issue with mismatched tires is when the grip level of the two tires is noticeable different. There are alot of threads on this from members who have done this and had the negative side effects. If the grip level of the 760's is similiar to the 050's then I probably wouldn't worry about it.
