I think that may be what they are talking about. If you look behind your seat the narrow channel in the trunk has the amp box (Bose) in my car and to the right of it (looking from the trunk end), you'll see another small box that is the Navi system (hard drive, controller, etc.). Anyway you probably wouldn't get anyone that knows installing, maybe housekeeping answered the email, ha-ha. I've got one ordered and when I install it I'll post back. I'm putting my adapter right behind the screen as per instructions and another poster here.

FH, Thanks! It's all the conflicting info I've read that keeps me from pulling the trigger on this but I definitely determined ...just want to be sure I buy the right module and install using the easiest method possible. I wouldn't mind doing it myself if I could see someone actually pull the dash apart. I've seen some pics but there's nothing like a video to get a feel for exactly how hard to pull, which wires not to confuse, etc... I look forward to reading about your install.
Are you going to have it come on automatically when you shift into reverse?
Has anyone here installed without removing the screen?
