Already covered in my infamous ARE CAI REALLY WORTH IT thread.
Basically its up to the owner what and what they intend to do with the car.
The only real concern I found is that there some issues with MAS sensor problems , due to oil problems from, (oiled air filter) in some cases the dealer will blame the problem on the air filter and deny the claim. K/N will try and help resolve the problem, but I won't count on a CS person carrying much weight with another company.
The after market CAI will give you about 10 hp increase at 6500 rpm, but below that hp increase is barely noticeable.
So if you intend to track or drag your car or drive on the street in 1st and 2nd. gears all the time, then the after market CAI is the way to go.
Another note ! don't expect the tread to get past 4 pages with the censors.
