yah, amazon's virtual tenants are most likely NOT authorized dealers so they can't offer the full pioneer warranty. it's smart to buy from frys, crutchfield, etc.
but the last time a pioneer unit broke on me was never so i buy my stuff from amazon.
i have a 2500BT that's going in my dd in the coming weeks.
