What's sad is four of them probably had a good thing going, nibbling away at the cheese before Dopey comes stumbling along wants to know what's going on. Dopey's eyes bugger at the sight of the cheese block, and he dives in before any of the others can squeak a note of caution. So I guess you could also interpret this as " You're only as strong as your weakest link"
