The API rating is the more important part. The difference in viscosity between 80W90 and 75W90 is insignificant even at low temperatures.

If you're that paranoid about it, go with 80W90, but I can't imagine using 75W90 ever being an issue with a warranty claim (assuming it meets/exceeds all other specs).
