Hop in the Z roll down the windows. It is nice today. Prep the iPhone with my preselected song list! ELO and Counting Crows! yay! Oops, it's a manager stopping to say hello and admire the car. Hello Manager-smiling small talk. Reverse. heart starting to beat a bit faster. where the h3ll are all these people going...yeah, I see you looking at my car. smiling to myself. up the ramp and 45 mph freedom. stoplight on a hill, stupid people. WHERE is everybody going. OMG! Get out of my way. I'm going to stall it on this hill I just know it. sigh. Oh look. a GT Mustang! Relax. I must be holding my breath. I am so thirsty...breathe, relax. gawd. why so nervous still in this car. Can't wait to get some track experience maybe my nerves will settle then. traffic traffic everywhere. heeeyyy. what is that coming up in the rear view mirror. what is that?! ohhhh! New corvette! cool. silver rag top. Older woman driving it. Ewww, stock tires are ugly. I bet they aren't as wide as my PSS. I wonder. I'll have to ask the guys on the forum tonight. cruising the speed limit. Nobody moving too fast, Mustang left me. Lets take this up over the mountain road...then down 50 to 41 then maybe through town. LOL! that guy just turned all the way around in his drivers seat to see me . uh. left turn in front of the huge red pick up. LOL! don't think he liked that too much and my butt wiggled a bit....probably shouldn't have done it...oh well, on to the bank then home. sigh. Two hour drive in the sunshine. alone. no kids or husband. a great end to a crappy day.
You've inspired me to write up my drive home.
