I knew I was getting old when my kids asked me what a record was? I had to break out all of my half speed master recordings on vinyl and show them how real music sounded! I grew up in the 70s and 80s listening to classic rock and what was considered metal for back then. My first concert I attended was HEART and then Sammy Hagar (when he was still the Red Rocker), then Blue Oyster Cult and then the Scorpions. Loved the Crue in their day! They're still around, just a bit older and few pounds heavier in some cases.
