To answer the mileage question, the thin air requires more throttle...
So, worse mileage.
I'm getting about 28 mpg best on the highway with 91 octane Colorado fuel vrs 33 mpg best in California.
I'm pretty surprised! I thought thin air would mean leaner fuel flow and less Aerodynamic drag. I thought those two factors would mean better mileage, but I was apparently wrong. Weird.
