Just got my 'new' 370 last month. It's a 2011 MT Touring Coupe with just 11,500 miles. The previous owner took great care of it and it was in immaculate condition. Hurray!
Last Monday we had a MAJOR hail storm. I had the pleasure of sitting in my car during rush hour as it was pummeled by hail stones from ping-pong to baseball size. EVERY panel has at least one dent. The hood has 20+ dents along with the roof and deck lid. The windshield is shattered and the passenger mirror cover was knocked completely off.
Insurance company appraiser said $3,600 in damage but he must have been looking at a different car. My appraiser said it will be
at least double that (still waiting on their estimate). The insurance appraiser thought all dents could be straightened out but my collision guy said they'd need to be replaced. Since most of the car is aluminum, I'm assuming they will need to be replaced.
