I would like some more opinions because one issue I have is also the
look of the sidewalls. I currently have 255's on my 9" rim and it looks a bit stretched. I know the 305 on the 10.5" will have a bit of a bulge. My thinking is the 265 will have about the same amount of bulge vs. a stretch due to the 265 & 305 section width are both about 1.5" over rim width. Also, with the 255, it would have a smaller diameter and sidewall compared to the rear. OEM has fronts a bit larger so the 265 by the numbers is a better fit:
