I guess the only thing we can hope for is they enforce the crown rule as an explosion of force initiating contact. Lowering yourself in expectation of contact should be perfectly legal regardless of where initial contact is made (i.e. crown of helmet makes contact and continues in the same direction - typically downward). If they're going to have this rule, it should be limited to the running backs who lower the head and then explode upwards into a defender (i.e. crown of helmet makes contact and turns upward as the ball carrier lunges forward into the defender).

Regardless, this rule is fvcking stupid, and I think they're going to have a hell of a time enforcing it in questionable scenarios. Oh and good riddance, tuck rule
