I think you are taking what is being said here in the wrong context. If the competition was for any Modified Z then I would agree with the decision but when they first advertised this event it was to compare their crowd sourced 370z to another modified 370z. Like anything I guess they reserve the right to change their minds but they should have discontinued their promotion of this event and then relaunch it for all modified Z's. Besides I cant count on my hands of how many articles there are already comparing the old and new. Either way congrats to gordon and I hope he does well but as far as this forum goes it is pretty safe to say that motortrend and Nissan turned their backs on those that promote their product more than anyone else around and if they decide to show their faces at zdays and still claim to be the peoples champ then there will be more than a few that can call them out and will give them a smackdown that they would not soon forget.
