I think you answered your own question.
But as far as modding, CTS V will show more gains for engine mods. But that V is generation back so its gonna feel much different than a newer V , or
370. You will just have to drive and see. I'm not sure if it will be your only car but 370z as a daily driver or for carrying people/cargo has its limitations vs a coupe or 4dr car.
