Yes it is... Using tensile steel is also very expensive, lightweight and more rigid than aluminum. Tensile steel supported chassis should have more rigidty under harsh driving conditions and reduces chassis weight as well. Question is? What will the rest of the chassis be made from? aluminum or steel? If it's tensile steel and aluminum? We have a serious winner??? Lets see what other things happen in the future with nissan chassis design?
