yah, im thinking i will pop the old HU in my Fit for the time being and if i still have the urge to get a nav unit, do it later. at least this HU is 'free.'  i use my smartphone for maps, weather, traffic anyway. |
Mr.kenchan, don't worry about the ASWC, it works flawlessly after it's programmed...
After I have everything installed, I was setting up the HU and I saw that "Remote On/Off", so I thought since I don't have a remote I can just leave it "off".
Apparently, the ASWC IS the remote... took me a good hour to figure out WTF is going on...!!
However, I remember I have to connect a resistor to one of the wire... I can ask my friend see if he remembers what kind of resistor...
Or the "search" should be able to help
