I've spoken to Chris Forsberg directly about this, his shop does all his work on his formula D drift 370z. He said anywhere from $20,000-$100,000 to do a proper vk56 that actually runs and performs like a performance engine. But it would be MUCH cheaper to do an LS swap. Only reason they have vk56 is cause they are sponsored by nissan and have whatever funds to keep his car as nissan as possible to support the brand.
So unless you are filthy rich and have no regards to blowing excessive amounts of money to make this happen and be a build that actually performs, lasts, and have even more money to be able to afford mantainance. Its a fools build.
If you want v8 power and torque, swap in an LS motor.
