I just received a call from Nissan USA informing me that a recall was issued Friday March 8th for the Steering Lock

which has plagued so many faithful Z owners.
I had been burning up their phone lines since March 4th when I became a member of the "Dreaded Steering Lock Club". I held little hope as this situation has persisted since 09 with countless Z drivers left on the side of the road to tow their precious Z's in for a thousand dollar + fix for a problem that Nissan was perfectly aware of.
I now need to see about a refund from the dealer for the $1100 plus I spent and I hope any of you in the same boat do the same.
