I recently switched from Hankook V12 to Continental DW for the front, and it feels pretty good.
For the rear, I'm still on the Hankook V12. It has been barely 8 months, and it is already getting bald. Decent tire for the money with the amount of power I'm pushing, but it doesn't last as long. I might switch to the Continental DW, but the only size available is 285/35.
I've come to accept the fact that with this much power, none of the rear tires is going to last more than 2 years. With my driving habits, I'm doing fine with rear tires costing less than $300 each.
Are you guys spinning the tires after the shift, or from a roll? Any of you guys considered upgrading certain components to improve traction?
