Consumer Reports, Consumer's Digest, etc. have their place. They're great for people looking to get the best value for their budget dollar. If I was looking for a mid-range commuter sedan (like an Altima, Fusion, Accord, etc) I'd at least take some of their findings into consideration.
But for people who are looking for cars like ours, the usual CR criteria don't really carry the same weight. I know I wasn't really considering cargo space or all-season capability when buying my Z. It's all about perspective.
We're also car enthusiasts. Of course we're going to disagree with any "expert review." DON'T TELL ME MY Z IS UNRELIABLE. IT ONLY LEFT ME STRANDED TWICE IN 6 MONTHS. THAT'S NOT THAT MUCH...
