Calipers are $250 each. Then you need the shims for each caliper PLUS you need new brake lines since Akebono and Base brakes use different lines. At that point you might as well upgrade to SS lines. Buying the full kit from Z1 will make your life much more simple and probably cost about the same with some options compared to trying to piece everything together. If you can find someone selling the calipers, shims, rotors, and lines for under $1300 its a great price or you can spend about $2k to get slotted/cross-drilled rotors, pads of choice, SS lines, brand new calipers and your choice of brake fluid. Spend $1300 on the stock akebono's with everything but you wanna upgrade the rotors, add $400. Upgrade brake lines to SS, add $125. Better pads, add $125. Use Motul RBF600 fluid, add $40. It adds up to about the same except taking more time to gather it all plus none of that includes shipping.
